1. Who Are We?

Force High School Football is a not-for-profit organization established in 2004 for the benefit of home educated students or private school students who are interested in participating in football and/or cheer-leading.

2. Who manages the Force?

We have an elected board that oversees the day-to-day operations of our organization. Our board is made up of home school parents, both men and women. All members are actively involved in the home school community and their local churches. Each has demonstrated leadership skills and a servant heart. Board members serve specified term lengths as established by Force Athletics bylaws.

3. What about financial policies and organizational procedures?

Our financial records, bylaws and procedures are open to participating families in accordance with the open records laws for 501(c)3 Non Profit Organizations.

4. What is this programs purpose?

Through sports, students are taught the value of hard work, discipline, team building, sportsmanship, and other values that help develop a participants character.

5. Who can participate?

Football and cheer-leading participation is open to all area home school boys and girls who are abiding by Georgia home school laws that meet the age and eligibility requirements, or boys and girls who attend a private school which does not have a football or cheer-leading program. Football is open to boys age 13 and above, and cheer-leading is open to girls age 12 -12th grade.

6. Are parents invited to participate?

Yes, in order to make these programs run smoothly we have to have parent involvement. Each program will make the volunteering needs known and parents are required to participate and help out.

7. What is your policy regarding participation by those of different faiths?

We do not promote or endorse any particular Christian denomination. However, we do abide on fundamental Christian beliefs and ask that all families desiring to participate in a Force Athletics sports program to respect those Christian beliefs. Force Athletics does not discriminate against participants on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin.

8. What are your logo and colors?

Force Athletics has the same logo as the Georgia Force Arena Football team that used to play at the Gwinnett Arena and our colors are black, royal blue, white & silver.

9. Which leagues does The Force participate in?

Force varsity football does not participate in a league at this time.
Force middle school football currently participates in the Georgia Independent Christian Athletics Association(GICAA).

10. How much does it cost?

Participation fees are comparable to equivalent football and cheer-leading programs in the area. Force football and cheer-leading is a non-profit organization, and the necessary fees for uniforms, equipment, and supplies are shared equally by participating families in each sports program.

11. Can athletes letter in football and cheer-leading?

Any student in grades 9-12, that completes a season as a Varsity participant and has shown good sportsmanship and attitude is eligible to receive a varsity letter. Varsity letters will be presented at the close of the season at the awards banquet.

12. What are your program policies?

Participating families are provided with program information including policies & procedures, code of conduct, budgets, contacts, dates, and more at the information meeting held prior to pre-season clinics and tryouts. Check the website for details regarding when these meetings are held.
